Job Summary

We are actively seeking trustworthy, detail-oriented individuals to manage our store's cash flow. As a Bookkeeper, you will reconcile cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, and manage petty cash accounts. You will serve as the financial anchor of the store, delivering the signature precision that sets Micro Center apart in the electronics retail industry. This role blends quiet office focus with high-stakes financial responsibility.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Till Management: Issue starting cash funds to front-end cashiers, and count down their drawers at the end of their shifts to ensure perfect balance.
• Banking Operations: Prepare and verify daily secure bank deposits, coordinating with armored car services for safe and timely pickups.
• Petty Cash & Expenses: Manage the store's petty cash fund, reimbursing associates for approved small store purchases and maintaining receipts.
• Discrepancy Investigation: Research instances of cash over/short, reviewing register journals and CCTV footage to identify the source of the error.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; 1+ years of heavy cash-handling, banking teller, or retail bookkeeping experience is strictly required.
• Must possess an exceptional aptitude for mathematics, 10-key proficiency, and absolute integrity.
• Ability to work independently in a secure, enclosed cash office and meet strict daily reporting deadlines.
