Job Summary

We are actively seeking highly energetic, charismatic, and operationally sound individuals to join our store leadership team. As a Shift Lead, you will direct the daily crew, manage the flow of the store, and ensure that every customer experiences the "WOW" factor. You will serve as the floor general, delivering the signature abundance and friendliness that sets Trader Joe's apart in the grocery industry. This is a highly physical, floor-based management role.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Crew Direction: Write and execute the daily "log," deploying Crew Members to registers, stocking aisles, and sample stations to optimize store flow.
• Customer Experience: Lead by example, jumping onto a register during a rush, interacting warmly with customers, and resolving any complaints instantly.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the opening or closing procedures of the store, ensuring cash tills balance, alarms are set, and the store is pristine.
• Mentorship: Provide continuous, positive feedback to Crew Members, fostering a collaborative, fun, and inclusive work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; 2+ years of retail, hospitality, or grocery management experience is strongly preferred.
• Must possess an incredibly upbeat attitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a chaotic, fun environment.
• Extreme physical stamina with the continuous ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds while managing the floor.
